The Charlie Dutton Gallery is proud to present our first Salon Show, the “CRASH OPEN”. Hung floor to ceiling in Paintings, Print and Photography, it will be a grotto of art, an exciting and exhilarating treasure trove in which anyone can discover and take home the next big thing.

 

Charlie Dutton (Director/Curator), Matthew Collings (Art critic) and Dan Hays (Artist) are the selectors of this years show, and they have whittled down the submissions to just over 30 works to be exhibited, from nearly 1000 pieces that were sent in from mid-career and emerging artists.The standard of work that was entered was incredibly high, and it has been a great pleasure, if a challenging one, to choose those pieces to be exhibited. From the show there will an overall winner who will be invited to have a solo show in 2011.
